Creative Career

I loved drawing from an early age on, with a special preference for Mordillo. My great-grandmother, great-grandfather and grandmother, who devoted their entire lives to painting, increased my interest in painting.

 

1984 - Technical school for fashion and clothing in Klagenfurt. The love of drawing began with drawing lessons Nature study.

1997 - "Painting and Drawing" with Ms. Ulrike Reinwald

1998 - Watercolor course with Mr. Langhammer 1999 - life drawing with Ms. Ulrike Reinwald

2000 - One year stay in Barcelona. The first ink drawings in connection with watercolor emerged. 2003 - Moved to Vienna.

2004 - 2005 courses in perspective through the curriculum of the window dressing course at the artistic VHS Vienna.

2005 - Pastel chalk course with Ms. Roswitha Wagner in Vienna.

2006 - 2008 Visited the artistic VHS in Vienna. During this time my first pictures were made in pastel chalk, acrylic and oil. Exhibitions in Vienna followed. For a long time it was one of my greatest joys to translate the vacation pictures of my long trips to Asia into pastel chalk, oil and acrylic.  

2013 - Moved to Gran Canaria. Since then I have been mainly devoted to oil painting. I am fascinated by the warm and strong oil colors, as well as the possibility to mix the colors gently into each other, directly on the picture. Here in Gran Canaria, the longer drying time of the oil paint is a clear advantage compared to acrylic. Fascinated by the warm and strong colors of oil painting, I experience landscapes and animals again in my own painting. Some of my pictures are exhibited here in the south of Gran Canaria in the Austrian restaurant "Bistronomic" in Playa de Ingles and in a yoga studio in El Tablero.
